Over one night it decided to update itself, it removed a device driver and make f.lux flicker. Contacted Herf himself about it and he admitted it was a problem that they are working on.

I never saw any improvement with 10, DX12 supported by fuck all at this point, it's the only reason I updated to 10. But it was a downgrade, instead I got those fucking awful ribbon menus from W 8/8.1 and everything became more uneasy to use. The OS is incompatible with a lot of stuff and Microshit doesn't waste a moment on making it more awful, they are progressively making it worse intentionally.

When I have time I'll replace this installation of 7 with an Arch Linux build but right now I'm too busy at work to use time configuring Arch.

For those thinking about going for W10: Don't. While it might work for you for 2 months, they will introduce "updates" that break the OS. It used to be vice versa, you installed Windows instead of Linux, because Linux updates broke the OS, now it's the other way around. -Syu has never broken my OS.

It has to do with DisplayLink. I have a USB 3 to DVI adapter that worked fine, but after Microshit just had to "make things better" it started suffering from memory leaks and f.lux couldn't handle it.

I have Windows 10 on my ThinkPad X201i, and flux flickers too.

But it's probably due to intel's hd graphics drivers being shit. The screen also flickers when I unplug the laptop (and the screen brightness lowers).

Also, my touchpad sometimes goes full retarded. Don't know if it is the synaptics driver's fault or something to do with the activator I used.
