Which would you rather?
Titan X, I think.
Do some folding.
>>56118292
Bottom. Got it free from work. Memes aside, it's decent for general purpose+programming, much better than Windows, though Linux is better for programming
>>56118292
T420
>>56118292
The 15" MBP is worth more so that.
Sell it.
Buy an SSD for the 2012 non-retina MBP I already have. Happy days.
>>56118358
they give Mac laptops out to homosexual escorts these days?
Now THAT'S progressive
>>56118426
>sell it
everyone knows that that's not a valid answer for these types of questions.
>>56118292
MBP
Sell it and get Vega + Zen.

the 3584 cores get me triggered
it's a great card that I want to OC to 2ghz, but it's not the full chip, there's something fundamentally wrong
I've noticed only today that Nvidia won't resell the Titan X to resellers and will retain sole distribution, which rules out waterblocks and explains the emphasis on the NVIDIA tagline. The max SLI is also at 2 cards apparently.
Betting on a Titan X Black GP100 with HBM2 as a joker card, tag price would be several thousand I'd presume. NVIDIA is possibly positioning in order to pull the real trigger
full GP100
none, just go on vacation
>>56118473
>Titan X Black GP100 with HBM2
keep dreaming
Macbook in all honesty. I don't have a laptop currently and my recently built PC with a 970 just died on me so I'm a little disillusioned with pcs at the moment. Gimme dat Mac bby
>15"
I'll take the Titan X
MacBook because I'm not a child and don't play video games

it's called the tesla p100, nerd
>>56118718
buy a dgx and break it into legit gpus? it's GP100, I'm not sure what you're implying buy pulling up an enterprise solution
>>56118765
tesla p100 is going to be what, $6k? Why are you shilling for the nvidia memebox?
mbp
already have 2, why not a third
>>56118814
look whatever it's called, just the full chip and the HBM2 as shown, otherwise if one needs to buy the p100 as you say, well where does one place an order? individuals or through corp
Macbook
I already have a GTX 1070 and it runs all my gaymes just fine.
>>56118358
>not dual partitioning your laptop
>>56118873
>not running linux in a vm
>>56118814
in any case, in the event GP100 would be released it's positioned too close to the new architecture under Samsung fab, so the price point will be a new segment on it's own. full chips don't seem likely to be released to the public then, combined with exclusive distribution, translates into lowering the offering for the enthusiast market into sub-par quality, imperfect binning
>>56118920
I guess if you don't need to use Linux for anything that actually requires performance, usbs, stability...

Supporting more than a small handful of shitty filesystems+virtualbox raw disk access = use for a linux VM

Thinkpad T61
>>56118920
Yes, yes, run linux on top of your botnet/security nightmare OS. Way to defeat the point.
>>56119272
I think osx is the least security-nightmare os, unless you're actually going to run grsec/pax
>>56119066
>http://www.anandtech.com/show/10433/nvidia-announces-pci-express-tesla-p100
3584 stream processors aka CUDA cores right
where are the 3840, same dog different fleas
obviously the full chips are going to business first but it's not like there's inherently a shortage, or yes it is according to ye old Moore's Law where binning full chips are rare, made rare possibly to maintain prices? more likely simply to fulfill demand while maintaining prices, it's a really smart from nvidia
nvidia is the equilibrium dictating demand through binning, time to buy more shares as I've down all throughout
no principles for consumers though as usual, as expected
>>56118292
which one has teh better resale value?
then eat for three months.
>>56119432
Bait. OS X security is about as bad as Windows XP, it just hasn't received enough attacks to expose it

Feel free to do your own research. OS X malware is trivial to produce, there's just too few people interested in doing it.
Windows runs all the world's business PCs, Linux runs all the world's servers and critical internet infrastructure. Big targets for malware
But feel free to baselessly call me a /v/tard for mysterious reasons, even though I don't even play video games. Good joke.

the money they cost.

bottom, I already own a 1080.
The laptop sells faster. Both are memes
>>56121077
As far as memes go, these two memes aren't particularly funny.
>>56118292
Why not both? Are they not putting a FULL BOARD 1080 in laptops soon?
>>56118292
my system would probably bottleneck a titan and I could give a fuck about games
but I would like a nice portable
so give me the cuckbook

The memebook so I can sell it to some moron and then buy the Titan X and keep the rest of the cash.
