I like Steam, but if you don't for some reason there's platforms like GOG or even your chosen GNU/Linux distribution's repositories.

Tor only supports TCP. Most trackers (and the DHT for trackerless torrents) are UDP-only, so you'd probably have difficulty connecting to most torrents.

I suppose you could connect to one of the shitty free obvious-honeypot vpns over tor, and maybe get things to work that way, but then you'd be using 1 TCP stream for all your traffic. It'd probably be slower than dialup.

I usually go on The Pirate Bay. I also read the comments on the torrent page.
