So here's the skinny
I've had to set up my grandma's email account MULTIPLE times as the task of writing down an email address and accompanying password and keeping it safe is too difficult for her at her old age.
It's a Gmail account so its of course linked to everything Including her Google play faggot bullshit whatever
Recently she called me randomly asking for help getting into her email. I had to check that the password I was giving her worked and logged into her account on my phone because I was out and about.
So now her Gmail account was in my phone. Not such a big deal. Until I wanted to access my Firefox browsing history from my PC onto my phone, and that requires syncing my account. But not just one. No, Firefox has their android app set up so that if you want to sync you Firefox info, you have to literally change your settings for ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS TO SYNC AUTOMATICALLY. I am not bullshitting you
That's right, Firefox is evidently a prescriber of the all or nothing philosophy.
So I agree and change my sync settings, which were previously set up very meticulously and with good reason, but Firefox demands I must let loose the flood gates if i wanna sync up one fucking account.
So then yesterday, I noticed that all my fucking grandma's contacts were now on my phone, which is just fucking annoying. I already have enough trouble telling who the fuck Alice or John are and why I have their number, I don't need a hundred faggots I've never met.
So I do the logical thing, delete the accounts.
Simple, right?

All is well until grandma tells me her numbers are ALL GONE.
Thats right, it seems I managed to not only delete the contacts from my phone, but also deleted them from my grandma's account and thus automatically deleted the #s from right out of her phone.
How the fuck does that even work? I delete shit off my phone and it goes for her phone too?
This is why I hate all this account syncing bullshit, but it's an even bigger indicator as to why I fucking hate my grandma, but I'm stuck with her and I gotta clean my mess up for her sake.
Anyone know how I can recover those numbers?
She did manage to retain her contacts and their names, just not the numbers.

If you go Into the app to change sync settings it takes you to this screen, this is literally your only choice to sync your shit

I logged in on my Gmail app on my phone so it made me add her account to Google, thus including her in my Accounts, and that's why her contacts synced onto my phone
I didn't delete her email or account because I know she'll need help in the future so I might as well just keep it
