I'd say it's worth it, but only if you're willing to put the time in to make it "yours" if you know what I mean. When you do a fresh Windows 7 install you have to grab all of your drivers and shit but the OS basically belongs to you, or atleast it feels that way. What I've found with Windows 10 it takes a little more time to get it to a point where it feels like M$ isn't sticking their nose in your business. I just recently upgraded and from 7 and I found that using a combo of Tech YES City and Barnacules' tutorials on how to optimize it and remove all the ads, etc., it can be a pretty nice OS, but out of the box it's not something I'd use.
