Nice digits.

you too /g/ent
In my language, gen-two. Pronouncing it like "джeн-тyy" would make me look like I'm trying to imitate a posh british person.

s/gen-two/"гeн-тy"
jen-two (`jen` as in jennifer)
>>56076810
/ˈdʒɛntuː/ jen-too
Jen too. That's how the penguin's pronounced, I assume it's the same for the distro.
>>56076810
Ghentoh

This is the only right answer.

Jentoo. Though I say gif as in GRAPHIC INTERCHANGE FORMAT.
Fucking morons who think its with a J sound.
>But you say gentoo with a J!
I'm British. Gent is spelt with a G, but said with a J sound.
>>56076810
What is /G/?
>>56077712
I haven't had friends since I mentioned gentoo
Gênetou.
/ˈdʒɛntuː/ jen-too
I pronounce both gentoo and gif with a hard G, even though they are supposed to be pronounced with a J sound.

>Fucking morons who think its a J sound.
The guy who created GIF said he intended it to be "jif," but that it's okay either way. The only "fucking morons" are idiots like you who make stupid non-arguments like "he's not a linguist" (as if you need to be a linguist to coin a term), or "the G stands for graphics, therefore it should be a hard G in the acronym" despite the fact that you probably say "jay peg" instead of "jay feg"
