I tend to find myself playing games where awareness matters- shooters, exploration, open world stuff etc. I prefer to see more , so it's higher res all the way. I would turn every graphic setting of a game to its minimum and play at 20FPS if it meant keeping max resolution.

Of the two, 60Hz is just fine.

Actually just made this choice recently. Went with 1440p 60hz, no regrets. Doing work stuff is so much nicer with a higher resolution.
