>/g/entlemen, how do we fix JavaScript?
hahaha, good luck with that
Kill the Node.js meme.
I'm here just to do shitposting. I don't want fix anything.
I only use Javascript on my website for image galleries, cookie notices, ads and obfuscating my email.
Without Javascript nothing of value would be lost.
start from scratch
Use it for what it should be used and that's it.
>>56067741
We kill it, then kill anyone who would create a successor.
>>56067741
I just avoid it at all costs

By using the latest ES version and not touching anything that resembles a framework in the slightest.
Javascript is perfect, the only thing it was lacking was lexical scope and thats fixed with let. I like Ruby a lot, but Ruby is actually an example of how OO and classes can constrain you. Ruby is moving toward being something like Clojure or Elixir where everything is an immutable object and only accessed by reference. That can be nice in certain situations but for doing things like what javascript was meant to do it would be a disaster. Javascript is perfect, just use coffeescript if you dont like the C syntax.
It's all dead my friend's everything is gone.
java it's dead because of over usage and people making new os's of it and pajeets touching .net was good until pajeets
