Anons,
Somewhat regular anon here.
I've been thinking about buying the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 once it's available in my country. I just think it's a rather sexy looking phone and I'm really tempted, to be honest.
Currently, I own a Meizu MX4 and it's great, absolutely brilliant. It does everything I need it to do and design-wise, it's very elegant (Gotta love the home button).
That would be the major reason as to why I wouldn't buy the Note 7: if you guys think it won't be that much of a leap between the two phones, I'll keep the MX4.
So, should I get the Note 7 or should I keep the MX4?
Thanks!

the only reason i won't get a note7 is because there's no flat version.

I'm not particularly enthusiastic about the edges, but they don't really turn me off either.
Do the edges feel too weird at first?
I handled an s6 edge once. The edges feel very weird and add little to no functionality.

it's not that they feel weird, i just don't believe there's much of a point to having curved edges on the screen. in my view, it's a gimmick with extremely limited usage.
I've never held an edge phone, but whenever I see cases on them it looks super awkward because the cases really don't have anywhere to grip.

maybe the idea is to deter people from using cases so they are more likely to use proprietary accessories that wouldn't be compatible, like docks.

Otterbox Symmetry case feels fine on my s6 edge.
The edges don't add too much in terms of functionality, the onely noteworth feature is you can swipe along the edge while the phone is suspended to get a feed there with your notifications.
That said they look cool as hell. Like Ive got a phone from the future. Really, the curved edges are about aesthetics and that's pretty much it. Not worth the extra $100 outright but I went on a payment plan where the s6 cost like $24 a month and the s6 edge cost $25, so I said what the hell why not...
I was thinking about getting the ZTE Max Pro.
Does anyone have one and is willing to recommend it?
Are there any other comparable phones I should get instead?

Don't get it
