I want to buy an Chuwi HI8 Pro.
Is it a good choice ?
I'd say no. It seems the HI8 Pro tablet has always been a bit of a lottery. And while the old HI8 was great at first, they're now coming out with a rather high emmc failure rate.
Ask around at some forums (techtablets and the chuwi support forums) to get more info on current production quality, but I'd suggest you go with something like the teclast tablets, even if they are a bit more expensive.
The hibook seems to be quite solid, but it's a larger size and price.

No, it's infested with problems. Dig around the chinkshitgeneral wiki and it will tell you to stay away.
Just spend a few bux more and buy a windows10 tablet from amazon do the same thing

I almost bought a teclast tablet but the model I was looking at had overheating issues. I got the toshiba click 10 and while it has an intel atom Z8300 (the teclast had a Z8500) and 2gb ram (the teclast had 4) the throttling pulled down the performance of the teclast tablet to about the same as the z8300 after a few minutes. That and waiting 60days vs 2days, and easy warranty returns from amazon
I have one and I love it. Don't expect to do much with Windows besides light 2d stuff. Android is pretty snappy and great for shitposting.
My GF broke it though, cracked the screen.
If you can get it for $100, I'd say go for it. I'm getting another one.
The headphone dac is weak, so it's not great for listening to music on something like M50s.

sorry, that's 30 days, and gearbest offered me a 7-day delivery time (from order) because of the price. Still i was apprehensive about the possibility of getting CHINKED
