What's the best torrent client?
Objectively qBittorrent.
Deluge is also respectable.

Good taste!

Nevermind

these. I like qbt just because it's written in C++. I like to lean towards C++ vs python, although my understanding is python's made some pretty huge strides in efficiency.
They are both pretty equivalent in terms of features though, so flip a coin if you don't care.

I use Deluge and I am satisfied with its performance.
qBittorrent and Transmission are good too.
Vuze used to be good, but it's gone to shit.
I don't understand why you'd value one client over another.
Don't they all do the same shit?
>>56062208
Yeah, why choose any program over any other similar program?
It's all the same shit.
>>56062208
Not really. /g/ wants a stable, functional yet light client. Yes, they all "do the same thing", but we're looking at efficiency here.

Fuck, I forgot to delete the "not really" from the original post I had typed
I look like some retard contradicting himself a sentence later.

No, qBittorrent has many features other torrent clients do not
1. It doesn't connect to other clients, thus protecting your privacy.
2. It redownloads files you've moved, thus making sure your connection doesn't go to waste.
3. It occasionally deletes the files you've downloaded, freeing space.
4. It often loses all your torrents, letting you know that stealing is bad.
I don't need these features so I use uTorrent 2.2.1.
Heh--I'm using Bitflu at the moment. It's written in Perl! My machine is running an old OS and I can't download Transmission, but I've got Perl, so I thought I'd see if there's something I can use, and there it is. It's working just fine.

Fuck off hipster
Deluge is good.
It's the first client I installed and I never had to switch.

some like utorrent are full of cancerous ads so thats a very good reason to use some other client.
