You can, theres a metapackage you can install if you're on any Ubuntu
lubuntu-qt-desktop
do the usual apt install on that and boom

Couldn't find it at first so I grabbed the deb from http://packages.ubuntu.com/yakkety/amd64/lubuntu-qt-desktop/download
It's currently grabbing dependencies and I'll report back once it's done.
