Not even a month after I reinstall and it's back to the way it was before. It takes AGES to get from pressing the power button to being ready for use. Linux doesn't do this to me.
Is this the price we must pay for games?
>PC gaming
Get a PlayStation 4 and embrace Linux in your PC. Consoles are getting all the good new exclusives these days anyway.

OP, the only shit that even comes out on PC is either bad console ports, or shitty indie games that are all the same. Not worth the $1000+ you put into building your own system when you could just buy a gaming console at less than half of that and have a superior gaming experience.
>registry fragmentation
If only there was an OS that didn't deal with this shit. Maybe one day.

Consoles can't even begin to compare. 144hz alone makes their sub-60fps crap feel unplayable by comparison, plus everything other than fighting games is infinitely better with mouse and keyboard.

Controllers are nice for racing games if you don't have a wheel.
Still consoles are bullshit. You end up paying more for shit performance.
