I use Debian GNU/Linux on my PCs exslusivly, so i'm no winbaby.
What really blows my mind is Windows 10's UX. It seems really rushed, but not only that, they took a step back from modern metro design, back to the ugly desktop format. Why? The big start screen looked amazing when i used Windows 8.1. Are they really trying that hard to appeal to retards over
>muh start button?
The flip animatons, everything just seemed so polished.

What's wrong with 8.1?
>>56044948
Nothing. telemetry can be disabled, everything "just werks".
Still closed source, so i won't use it now.

Agree. News reader was strict and nice, and look, what they've done with it in Windows 10? It's horrible.

win 8 was made for tablets on mind and shit, it was awful on desktop from an usability point
>>56045313
Bullshit.
It was the first desktop Windows that properly worked.
>muh I want a tiny ass menu to scroll in and look into folders on a hueg ass screen meme
Fuck off, menulets. You suck.
There is no point in having to click "Ubisoft" before clicking "Assassins Creed" in a small ass tiny ass menu in the fucking corner of a screen. Windows 8 and 8.1 fixed it but stupid nerdkiddys spouted so loud that billy rekt them with candy crush.
You were just mirin the fags being able to afford the Win 8 tablets back in the days, no enjoy your Win10 tablet shit you idiot.

this is what you get for trusting an OS that doesnt let you customize start menus, easily.
