Memes aside, I'm just interested in peoples opinion about it. I run a dual-boot Win7/Kali, was tired of working in a VM so I bit the bullet and installed. Also opinions on systemd.

doesnt systemd have nsa backdoors?
kali is great when you're learning, but you should really work on finding the tools you need and then installing the latest versions by hand. some of them will require compiling from github sources and that means manual library dependency installation. you'll figure it out.

There is literally no reason to install Kali. If you want to be le cool haxor then you should run it on a live DVD/USB stick. If you actually want to use Linux as you primary OS or dual boot then install something else.

This. Install Debian with Gnome3 instead if you like the UI, and use Kali in a VM.

I use Kali for work, so it is the only OS on my laptop. It has its flaws, but the users are what ruins it's reputation. Your use is perfectly valid.
