Good anons of /g/, can you give me the low down on TV boxes? If I want one to pirate movies and TV shows off the internet, would Kodi and android TV boxes be what I should look for? Or are the big media firms plugging all the loop holes and finding ways to pirate these shows a chore?
Why don't people just use a stick computer these days? I don't understand using a shite box when you can have a computer running your TV.

Tempting for sure. However I got to jump through the ads and malwares when I try to watch movies online. I thought the android box could bypass that.

Because that is expensive then you have to get a Bluetooth remote.

Had 3 of 'em in the $80-$150 USD range - MXQ and two others that I don't remember (quad- and octo-core) . Issues with all - buffering, performance, UI, really shitty H265 compatability.
Bit the bullet, got an NVidia Shield - pricey but I haven't had *any* issues in over 6 months. Best move I could have made.

It's not like cable TV, you are learning another type of consumption.
$30 TV box turns dumb TV into very good smart TV.
