IRC and BBS post 2005 are all circlejerks, there's no "information", it's quite literally dropouts buttblasted because they can't figure out what 99% of people already knew that nobody in any business any where gives a flying fuck about their obscure dead 80s hipster lang or shit-on-purpose distro. Ageism has long since infected irc and BBS and saying anything a fraction of a hair outside their retarded 3 decade old Luddite tier opinions instantly devolves into "the good ol days" of the net where there were less than 20 people on their shitty server and they had to lie and pretend to like each other or else face total loneliness as this "communications" technology really is just an extension of their anti socialism as they pretend to fit in by idling for decades at a time
