Hey /g/, let's talk about C. I've read the meme-book and I have a good grasp on how to make console programs. Now I'm wishing to make simple programs for my desktop. For instance, how would I make a multi-platform application with simple animations/interaction?
Also, for linux only, would I just use Xlib?
If anyone sees this, it looks like I use the GTK library.

maybe even OpenGL if you want to take it that far

If you want to make "real" programs with GUIs in C, you'll need to know Win32 API for Windows or GTK+ for Linux.
Good luck going down this rabbit hole.
