How many of you did Android development and know basic stuff about Google Services?
I'm trying to get the most out of my Android device by disabling apps and services that aren't useful and consume resources. These Google services are always running in the background and I couldn't find any relevant info about them:
DropBoxEntryAddedService
ContextManagerService
LockScreenService
What do you know about these? Are they safe to disable? What functionality you may lose by disabling them?

Never heard of MicroG?
>inb4 OP is both faggot and ignorant
>>55997678
Yeah, but no thanks. I don't want to to turn my smartphone into a dumbphone. Can you answer the questions in the op? No? Then thanks for the bump, but fuck off.

>microG
>dumbphone
Not him, but do your fucking research. It lets you use Google services without any services constantly taking up your phone's resources.
You can't disable services from the Play services app without breaking anything, anyway.

From a thread about microg still active atm (>>55993901):

I have 10 Google Play services disabled right now. Everything (that I need) works just fine.

Who is this modem downloadem?

lube specialist
>>55997501
The names of the services describe exactly what they are.
>>55998959
Okay, so LockScreenService manages the Lock Screen.
ContextManagerService presents actions when you long-tap on interface elements.
DropBoxEntryAddedService you would say it's related to Dropbox, but I don't have anything related to Dropbox installed and (as stated in op) it's a Google Play service.
I can make assumptions or deductions too, but an informed opinion would still be better.
