Are curved monitors a meme?

Only if they are small.

A large curved monitor emulates the same thing angled multi monitor setups do. Having a flat long large monitor makes the color differences very noticable and annoying.

If 1080p yes. Would rather get monitors with an arm that can rotate.

If 1440p or more, no.

Much more comfortable than two monitors in most cases, there are various degrees of curvature though.
