Agree with this. Had an OG Moto X for 2 years and it was the best. It did have a few drawbacks though, decent but not good camera, almost no updates (fixable with roms but I'm a normie), also no SD card which didn't bother me that much since I have unlimited data and stream everything but still.

Other that that it was perfect. Sick battery life (like a day and a half of normal to heavy usage when I first got it and still easily a full day after a year and a half), good performance, best ergonomics of any smartphone I've ever held. Plus the software Motorola added to android was actually useful as fuck. I have an S7 now and I miss the fuck out of active notifications.

Happy with the S7 for the camera but basically everything else is either a downgrade or has no significant effect on the user experience (like the screen resolution and processor).

One Plus One was the best phone released around that time. Nexus 4 is the best Nexus device Google ever released. Best phone released on the 808/810 chipset in 2015 (worst chipset in the last few years) was the Moto X Pure and the LG V10.

Nexus 5 was the biggest utter piece of fucking dog shit I have ever fucking used.

I bought FOUR of these fuckers for my whole family. Two of them shit the bed due to a bad power switch that causes random shut downs that eventually gets worse and you won't be able to to turn the phone on at all.

Of that two, one had a loose vibration motor google refused to fix, and the third one's battery shit the bed...and get this: ALL WITH IN EXACTLY 13 FUCKING MONTHS-- just outside of its warranty. I will NEVER fucking buy an LG or Google product EVER again.

Only one is still good that never gets used.

FUCK-THAT-PHONE and hopefully all the manufacturing engineers die of cancer.

girlfriend has a one plus one, screen quality is garbage and it keeps me away from the one plus three

I had a nexus 5 for a good two years and loved that fucker dearly. Such a cheaply built phone though. All the drops it had eventually broke the battery connector off the mainboard and it was too small to fix. It made me fall in love with LG so I ended up going for a G3. I've been using it for 2 years now. LG phones seem to handle custom roms really well out of my experience. Gonna start looking into the V20 or maybe pick up a V10 used. The camera takes instant photos though on my phone, it's a 2K resolution display(not the best in sunlight though).

I only want to upgrade for better performance, newest camera, finger print scanner, and some brighter screen (for daytime).
