I just installed opensuse and am enjoying the eye candy after fixing all the issues(annoying flickering and random crash & freeze).
But I've noticed that I'm getting a hour less battery life than i've had before.
I already have tlp installed.

OpenSuse already come with some kind of advanced energy management, if i remember correctly.

KDE is not at all meant for laptops.
Try GNOME or MATE. You should get better results

How can I improve battery life on KDE?
