What is best cheapest phone to use with Ting

Does anyone have first-person experience of cheap chink phones with good sound quality? I have a Homtom and I've had other chink phones in the past but they've all had pretty disappointing call sound quality. This is fine for me, since I'm not from the past and don't make many voice calls, but my dad needs a cheap new phone to do bidness on, so he needs good call quality.

Note: by cheap I mean like <$100.

So I discovered /csg/ couple months ago and one of my first orders was a USB charger. It was cheap, but still it had over 1000 orders and 4.9 star reviews.

And today after a month of use it just blew and started to burn. Lucky I was home and managed to quickly put the burning charger off. If I had not been home the whole house would have burned down...

But this got me thinking, we are risking our lives with inferior quality, dangerous products. All just to save a couple of bucks.

Threw away my usb chargers, sharks, RN3P and 1 dollar mouses. Opened dispute on them all for risking my life.
Not going to buy a single chink product again. My life is worth more than trying to save couple of bucks.

It'd be nice seeing MIUI 8 packaging what few translated strings they do have, but with MoreLangs at least every regular app from Play Store will be in Japanese which is good enough for now.

I got my chinese intellimouse today.
My pc does recognise it as an intellimouse 3.0 and the drivers work, as far as I can tell the sensor is pretty good but im no expert at mice (coming from a shitty logitech rx300 office mouse).
Does anyone have any idea how to test mice ? Like any software or tests i could do. I've tried lifting it up and putting it down repeatedly at different speeds and the cursor did not shoot off to a side or anything, slight judder but it kept in place. Also tried doing rapid turns / swipes / circles to see if i could get the cursor to spin out but so far it seems really solid.

Probably not a crazy to buy xiaomi and some others and unlock the bootloader, install TWRP and the EU rom and sell it for a markup.

Lot of people will pay $100+ more than the value to get it shipped to them quickly, and have a phone they know will work that comes from someone they perceive to be more trustworthy.

Pros:
It looks fucking sexy
It's really stable and easy to fly, much more so than the H22 because it's a whole lot less twitchy and the yaw rates are actually useful
It's big so you can see it more than 10m away
It's not a square so it's much easier to see which way it's pointed
Battery lasts about 10m without the camera (7m with)
Camera is alright when it works
Makes a fucking cool whooshing noise as it flies overhead instead of sounding like an electric mosquito
LEDs are decently bright so help with orientation even in daylight
Motors are plug and play so no soldering required to replace

Cons:
My camera randomly fails to record quite frequently
Camera is pointed down at a fixed angle of 30 degrees or so which makes it useless for trying to fly FPV
FPV screen is therefore both useless and makes you look autistic
Really benefits from a better transmitter (I have the Tarantula X6 one which I got for £6 with good boy points) which lets it go faster
No inverted flight I guess but that's a useless gimmick anyway.

I can do the XK X100 at some point too if you want, but that's basically a good version of the H22 so probably of less interest.
