There's an AliExpress seller from whom you can get a $1 coupon for 50 coins. This coupon can be used on $1.01 and above.

They're selling a micro USB cable for 84c and they also have a listing of 1c for some reason. I was thinking I'd take the coupon, add the micro USB and add the 1c seventeen times, which will make the price $1.01. My coupon gets applied and I effectively get it for 1c.

What will I do once the seller finds out though? He could flat out deny my order and chink me, but it'll only be losing a cent. They could report it to AliExpress and worse case scenario they'll shut my account.

Depends on budget.
If you want something poverty-tier to fly mostly outdoors with very limited indoor capabilities then the H22 is still the best, followed by the Floureon H101 (personally I prefer the latter, but the consensus here is for the H22 so go for that).
If you want to mostly fly indoors then get a Cheerson CX-10 or its near-clones (Eachine E10 or Floureon F10).
Some anon a while ago recommended the FQ777-124 but it's not the best for a beginner, mostly because the throttle is way more sensitive than it ought to be.

So here's a thing. It's a 4 in 1 pen with writing implement, touchscreen stylus, LED light and laser pointer. I got it to use the stylus with my phone while wearing motorcycle gloves and to piss off the cat with the laser pointer, and it excels at both duties. The flashlight is weak but better than nothing, and it writes surprisingly well. For 70p I have no complaints.

At least that's what I think the proper name is. It's THAT UltraFire flashlight.

The new light is slightly shorter unfocused than the UF is, but when you pull the focus gimmick all the way out the new light is slightly longer. The new light weighs 0.9 ounces less than the UF and is overall thinner and less stupid looking. The new light has a slightly warmer light than the UF, closer to neutral white than the UF is but I wouldn't say it's a true neutral.

The clip on the new light feels really flimsy though, it doesn't seem like it'd last long being carried. Which is fine, this light is going in my car. I already have a Bronte BT01 for EDC (and soon probably I will replace that with an Olight S10R Baton).

It's really nice, you can fold it up for ez storage and it comes with both a white and a black backdrop. OPMT anon here, still playing with my lightbox and preparing for my comprehensive chink OPMT overview. I have 2 OPMTs coming in the mail and I think that will be good enough to do my review once I get them.

Lightbox tip: to clean tiny imperfections and specks of dust/hair/etc. that inevitably will stick to your backdrop, use compressed air, the usual computer cleaner stuff. It works so much better than what I've been doing all day trying to scrape them away with my fingernails.

I own an orange pi. I did not really find a use for it yet, but it does work nicely once you set it up. It is apparently faster than the raspberry pi.

Setting it up is a bit of a pain in the ass though. If you do buy one, make sure that you get the power supply with it (you can't use the micro b port to power it). Do not try to use the official OS image downloads. They are missing some resolution files, and fixing it is a pain in the ass. Instead, you will want to either use armbian (I think this is the slightly smoother running option) or get an OS image made by Jacer on the Orange Pi forum (slightly easier to set up).
