Is anyone familiar with the iphone 5s home button mechanism? I've just replaced the screen on a 5s and the home button is not working. All the parts are intact and connected and it was working before I replaced the screen. I feel like I am missing something. Can anyone shed any light?
Should have taken it to someone who knew what they were doing

Asshole. I've done this before and it only took buying a 13 dollar replacement screen on ebay instead of paying some paki 90 dollars

the button should work fine. perhaps you should reconnect it to the motherboard. unless the home button is the same one that came with the motherboard it wont work for touch ID but it should still work as a button
