I need to have my data mined and used to feed me advertisements based on what I like. I have no idea what I like and its getting me frustrated.

pretty much what i was looking to find out, it seems like gmail is the best overall. i was looking for some input on if anyone knew what disadvantages gmail offers

For iOS? I prefer Outlook actually. Not using an actual Outlook account but I link my Gmail and my works IMAP.
That's just for free apps though. I didn't try any paid ones but Outlook was better than Gmail, Apple Mail, and Spark.
As for actual services I've used Gmail since you had to get invited and haven't bothered looking into else. Also, I really like Inbox on my desktop which last I checked didn't work with IMAP.

Zoho is pretty good. You can link to your own domain there as well.
Really any email service will do - they are all datagrabbing these days.
Use PGP for anything sensitive and that's about al you can do.

why would you go to jail? email is not illegal is it?

I use iCloud. Say whatever you want, but unless you're a retarded celebrity, I highly doubt the FBI are gonna be getting their hands on your shit without a legal battle.

How's the desktop browser experience with iCloud?
>>55971242
i use email clients for everything, but i've never had a problem with it whenever i've had to use it

So what you can use it via generic IMAP? What if you stop using Apple devices? I might switch in a year.
