I'm debating on whether to get the Opus 1300 or the Liitokala Engineer 500.
The Engineer is cheaper and acts as a powerbank, but the 1300 has a much better UI.
What do you /g/uys recommend?

personally I'd go with something like an accucel 6, far better battery support and better functionality but if you just want something dumb but not dumb plug and charge it might not be what you're looking for

The accucel/turnigy thing is cool. But I don't use multi cell batteries at this moment and I think finding a way to attach it to the cells instead of a sliding bar would be annoying.

>Liitokala
I'd really want to know how chinks decided to name their stuff with the word "flying fish" in finnish.

I've always had good experiences with Maha (Powerex) batteries and chargers.
nitecore d4 digicharger IS GOOD

My charger has a pretty shit UI and because of it I don't use most of its features.
I only charge batteries once every few months, so for me an intuitive UI would have made a big difference vs. having to grab the user manual.

My lii-200 is great, I'm really happy with it so far if that helps.
Any reason you're not considering the lii-500?

The engineer series has capacity measuring features and stuff like that. Although the 1300 has a nimh conditioning cycle

My lii-200 does that too, the lii-500 doesn't?

It doesn't do Coulomb counting though. Kind of a waste of a screen.

Maybe I should say what I wish to charge...
I have an assortment of NIMH batteries and some 18650s. I do have an interest in high power flashlights and may end up using larger cells in the future.

THAT IS WERE I START TOO

If don't need to charge 4 batteries at one, get the opus c100, only 10 burgerbux.
