I don't call myself nor consider myself an audiophile but there's definitely something to be said about buying actual quality products.
There's a big difference in quality between using an Uber Schiit stack paired with an HD650 to using a chink made (ie any and all) mp3 player and a pair of Skullcrappies.
And while kids with min wage jobs may not appreciate the quality or the fit and finish and feel of these refined products any true patrician will always pick quality over memery.

the best thing about high end audio is that eventually you get bored if your expensive ass cans and keep moving up until you finally call it quits

memeing aside, Sennheiser products are know for their bad build quality (not that it matters much in headphone for desktop use, anyways)
