Nah, I just used the values other people found. My laptop has two fans, for manual control I have to change 04 to 14 and then change values next to them for desired speed. Less values mean faster, for some reason, 60 is the maximum, they never reach that speed on their own.

Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Open source has never got particularly good at very fine GUI detail and ergonomics. Anything graphical has generally lagged in the OSS world, probably because that kind of coding is inherently ugly, time-consuming, and usually custom-framework-demanding. I'm a staunch OSS guy, and I usually refer to these two programs when people ask me what proprietary software is superior and probably won't be undermined by OSS.
