They're alright, i enjoy the weekly Tek shows but they are usually shitshows without Wendell keeping them in line, without him they're goofing off like Monkeys about news because they lack knowledge about the contents of what they discuss, Logan and Qain just seem to read the header of the article and maybe a few lines and thats it.

Wendell is the glue of the show when it comes to actually being informative and interesting, and i love his tutorials, he would be a great teacher.

Tek is pretty OK. The main news shows can be comfy as fug at times, they usually have relevant and fairly interesting articles on show.

Wendell is definitely the shining star of the whole cast, that man knows his shit and more. He's got a nice, calm voice and speech and he can explain a lot of things very clearly, provide backstory and details to pretty much anything they cover and generally he seems like a true tech wiz.

Logan is a goofball, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. He keeps the thing running and is an OK spokesperson. Qain is like Logan infused with synthetic vidya and reddit. That last Tek with them was a bit of a mess with both goofing off and neither having the knowledge to provide info or insight like Wendell.

In general, they make pretty alright tech videos with a decent amount of variety from news podcasts to gear review to some Linux stuff and tutorials to community content.

I'd go balls deep into Pistol anyday.

I honestly get the feeling that Logan is trying so hard to just make money. He has very basic knowledge and no real intellectual input. Wendell really is the only reason I watch. Qain has knowledge of hardware and some skills but I think he just goes along with Logan for a pay check. Notice Qain and Wendell aren't on the show much together? They would feed off of each other and Logan would be off trying to shill his mouse pads and shirts telling fart jokes and selling shitty 8 bit music.

Logan is dragging the show all over the US trying to strike it rich. He should have stayed with Wendell and gotten some talented people from around Wendells business. I know there are plenty here in this town. So ultimately I think Logan sucks and Wendell is awesome.

I've been a fan of Logan since the first time he worked at TigerDirect back in like 2003, so I've followed him all the way through RazeTheWorld, back to Tiger, and now to TekSyndicate.

The best time to be a fan was easily the RTW days with MeGotRice and 3dmacdaddy, that was a fun time when we used to actually hang out in games and do shit, it was awesome.

That said, TekSyndicate is pretty cool. Qain used to be a rare sighting, now he's everywhere, we never used to know about Wendell. I could live without Pistol but I don't find anything other than her voice to be particularly upsetting.

the entire channel's purpose is over anyways now that Windows 10 came out and is literally free (non-enforced activation = still free) and has 100% more support and features and functionality than even Ubuntu

I myself switched to it after being windows free and trying all the various linux distros since 2007 and got tired of the random bugs and glitches and performance aspects that almost made me trash my WD Black thinking it was to archaic to run OS functions and have to buy a overpriced memeSSD

now suddenly my W10 machine boots in 10 seconds and has zero lag even when running a bunch of processes or downloading (aka R/Wing) a bunch of files with DTA

only minor issue is the windows UI will sometimes lockup and have to reload itself when i change the monitor setup or disable one of the monitors, last intel driver was in late 2015 tho and i expect the anneversary edition to improve that (once its pushed to my computer....not in a hurry to try it incase of other bugs) and that intel will also issue a new driver udapte possibly
