Do any of you /g/entlemen have a 3D printer?
What do you use it for?
Any cool projects you've done?
I'm deciding whether or not to invest

I do have a knockoff of the replicator dual, desu I dont use it that much but it has been good for a few of custom projects, making things like raspi camera holders and motor mounts. If you are more into software it isnt worth it, as the novelty wears off.
Check out the Form 2.
I'm waiting until the tech becomes cheap enough to print high-quality anime figures.
If I had one now I'd use it to print and share onahole molds.

nice to have for fun projects or building cheap replacement parts. accuracy is horrible tho. (Engineer Speaking)
I make computer parts out of mine.
im about halfway through an entire custom built modular case
i made my own shell for my GPU, fans, ssd and hdd caddy's, pci covers, even made "motherboard armor"
id take pics but im about 3200 miles away from home right now

I assume they would. I don't see why not.
The hard part is finding skin-safe and elastic silicone that isn't extremely expensive. I found a shop that sells some in my country but it's 300Euros for 5kg, it seems expensive especially considering that you also need a vacuum pump to remove bubbles before curing (I wonder if a simple vacuum cleaner would do the trick, though). Also I have no guarantee that the cured result won't be too soft or too strong.
