How does /g/ feel about pic related? I like Pale Moon but scrolling feels weird and it's not compatible with as many extensions.
Its missing some video codec components.
I wasn't able to watch videos properly. mp4/webm/etc. Since this uses chromium build, it doesn't have the google proprietary codecs.

Not OP, but that's to be expected, isn't it?

I'm watching webm just fine? Version 51.1
It phones some German company instead of Google like Chromium, I can't trust either

Is there a peerblock list for it? I'm using peerblock to deal with Microsoft and Windows 10 and Google.

I found this on the InstallGentoo wiki
Apparently it no longer does that

Neat

Still cause for concern but I mean at least it's addressed for now, and they never force you to update so I can simply stay on the versions that don't spy if they ever do fuck around on me.
But yeah, Iridium is a good browser outside of that? I haven't come across any extension incompatibilities.
I'm using Enhanced Steam/
Reddit Enhancement Suite
/uBlock Origin
Am I missing any good addons?
bump for interest

Just use Firefox if you care.

>sketchy fork
Not really, and Iridium is built around performance (with full extension compatibility), why wouldn't you use it? It's objectively better than the official version of the browser it's based on

The risk of some Google shit still hiding in the massive codebase.

Peerblock, block all outgoing Google connections. It gets automatically updated with more IP addresses every day once you take the 15 seconds to do it.
>>55952171
How do you actually do that? Care to explain?
Youtube doesn't work for me anymore with it.

This.
