for under 400$ per pair: jbl lsr 308
the next price jump I would consider are the adams F7 oder a7x but they are like 1000$ per pair.

recently got the lsr 308 and Iam happy with.
every active monitor in that price range has a slight hiss, you wont be able to avoid that just so you know that. there wont be a point in switching to something else in that price range.
