whats the best torrent software you guys can suggest , currently using μtorrent because I've used it for a long time
>>55938427
FUCKING QBITTORRENT HOW CAN I CONNECT TO A REMOTE HOST?
>>55938427
Transmission or Halite.
>>55938441
Try zamunda.net ; it's some Bulgarian site but it's pretty good.
>>55938427
I use qbittorrent because it has the option to download sequencially so I can start a video before finishing the dl.
Otherwise I would be using transmission.
Deluge
>>55938483
That sounds useful
megaupload
>>55938483
AUR has a transmission patch that makes it download sequentially
>>55938427
Deluge
Qbittorrent on windows, deluge on Linux, flud on Android
>>55938579
Why don't you just torrent in your server?
>>55938427
You might want to know that you're most likely mining bitcoins from free...

Deluge or Transmission
>>55938727
Thanks, hopefully someone will push that to vanilla transmission.
utorrent 2.2
>>55938427

>>55938427

Use deluge or qbittorrent.
>>55938427
can someone explain why you guys dont use utorrent?
>>55938427
aria2c
>>55938795
yup its the best
>>55939550
It's non-free.
>>55939550
Same reason plebs use IE
>>55939550
In addition to being non-free like the bulk of the competition, it also has built in malware. But let's assume your using the pre-cancer 2.2.1. You're missing features and improvements that will NEVER be added, bugs that will never be fixed, you'll be locked out of non-curry private trackers, and most of all be using a client that still doesn't perform as well as it's free competitors.
I want someone to explain to me why you WOULD use utorrent.
>>55939703
>why you WOULD use utorrent.
Ignorance? Do you think most utorrent users know about other torrent clients?
>>55939580
>>55939674
>>55939703
thanks my /g/uys .. i just installed qbittorrent and i like it already
cheers
Post a client that can support over 10k active torrents that's whitelisted on most trackers.
I have to use a bunch of utorrents because deluge is unreasonably slow after 1k torrents.
>>55939874
pic or else
>>55939932
of what? here's 10 utorrent clients for 50k torrents.
>>55939753
QB is quite comy. Setting up QB-noX is pretty straight forward as well
>>55939972
Thats some absolute madmannery
>>55939972
What do you share, i mean 50k sounds insane.
>>55938427
Torrex Pro for Windows 10 is the best I've tried.
>>55938441
I've been using extratorrent.cc since the KAT shutdown. It'll probably be the next to go, though.
>>55939874
I have an rtorrent instance running just fine with 12k torrents
>>55940019
kys
>>55940003
chinese porno games & music. mostly on AB.
>>55940074
Mind sharing your config? I've tried rtorrent on windows in the past, but it would crash at random. I'd be down to try again on my vm.
>>55940217
Got an estimate on how large the seed collection is?
>>55940245
probably around 13tb
>>55940255
Fuck man
>>55938427
deluge on windows
rtorrent on linux
>>55940217

>>55938742

Halite

There's nothing special in it. Just sets a port and defines a couple directories.
If your shit was crashing it was probably window's fault.
