Found this lying around.
Stripped it of its HDD but is there any use for it now?
Do you guys keep your old desktops? What do you do with them?
I hide them behind furniture.

Depending on it's specs and if all the other parts work, it might be worth it to load up Windows on it and sell it.
Trash it. I usually load old laptops up as steam stream machines, or give them away to friends that don't have laptops but old desktops are useless bricks

Hey I have one of those somewhere.
It takes about 10 minutes to boot up.

I got one, then I got a decent Optiplex 390 for a deal too good to be true. The catch was it was missing parts, which happened to be the same parts my Dimension 5100 had. So I canalized it to make the new one work and saved $150 in parts.
I can still run the Dimension 5100 as well (thanks to $15 of secondary salvaged parts and it's not exactly pretty with the impromptu fix), but it is in an odd middle ground. As the newer computer is much better, and the older computer has more outdated features like floppy drive and somehow boots significantly faster.
So I too am wondering what to do with mine.
I do have to say always keep at least one old computer to help fix the others, having a secondary DVD burner with OS access has bee a huge help at times. So I don't know, old game box or dedicated overkill jukebox or something?
What do you like, any hobbies this can hep with?
I just got a a Dimension e521 from a friend in really good condition. I dual booted Win XP and Arch onto it but so far no real everyday use for it. Thinking about buying an old video card and hooking it up to a crt with crt_emudriver for emulation.
