Honestly, shill OPfag aside, I'm using Vivaldi and it's alright.

Still some things I don't like, like not being able to draw tabs outside of the window to make a new window, not being able to middle-mouse click anywhere on the bar to make a new tab (I guess I got used to CTRL T by now), and the fact that if you accidentally click between the search bar and the open tabs with middle mouse, it opens up this weird maximized view of the tabs, which is useless in itself.

Other than that, it's pretty solid and has been getting better. Crashes far less than Firefox "stable", which in itself is a pretty good accomplishment for a beta browser. It's alright, try it if you're on the look for a new browser, otherwise, don't bother, it's more of the same.

Yup, I do. That allows me to perform certain actions with mouse only, and without the need to use buttons. That's useful if you, like me, prefer to keep your left hand on your balls, rather then keyboard. I do not understand why Opera devs decided to put gestures in, but skipped customization. They are useless now. This is literally the only thing that keeps me with firefox and firegestures.

It won't be. The development already slowed down considerably compared to pre 1.1 period. I think Vivaldi is not growing as fast as investors expected it to grow. That is probably not helped by the fact that there are running from Norway which means insane salaries. I don't expect them to last much longer.

Problems with other browsers:

Opera - we shit on the userbase so they all left now we gonna try with this instead

Firefox - We wish we was this meme, shame it's digging it's own grave these days. We was chuffed when they copied our titlebar button

Edge - we should have based of this instead of chrome and we would be doing better right now, if only we could steal the source

Chrome - it's what we are using but we changed it a bit so hopefully nobody notices

I stopped using opera a long time ago. It just got to be too much with each install. Anon mentioned the ability to sync between browsers and mobile. Well that's why I use chrome. But for regular browsing I use edge on Windows and chromium on fedora.
