Has anyone found a good way to learn the basics of Java/Blue J by watching tutorials or by reading explenations on various sites? I looked already on the interwebs but nothing seemed to give me what I wanted.
Anything I can look for, maybe even someone sharing his experience on that, just anything helpful is welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Tutorials and videos are cancer. Use a book.

What book would you recommend for beginners?

Not that I've read it.
Java for dummies is genuinely good if you're starting out.
if you're serious about getting into Java, take actual classes with an actual teacher you can ask questions. You'll learn way faster.
BlueJ is babby's first IDE. What kind of tutorial could you possibly need? How to press a play button?
