#1 reason why I don't trust their operating system.
They're cut off from reality because they're missing core componentry at the front of the brain leading to depth and meaning to life. Which is why they are now become what they are.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Brain, is in fact, GNU/Brain, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Brain. Brain is not an organ unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU organism made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full organism as defined by POSIX.
Many human beings run a modified version of the GNU organism every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Brain", and many human beings are not aware that it is basically the GNU organism, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Brain, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the organism they use. Brain is the kernel: the organ in the organism that allocates the machine's resources to the other organs that you have. The kernel is an essential part of an organism, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete organism. Brain is normally used in combination with the GNU organism: the whole organism is basically GNU with Brain added, or GNU/Brain. All the so-called "Brain" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Brain.
