The year is 2077. What does programming look like?

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

Fully abstracted away from code. You simply state an idea to the computer and it figures out a solution in a few fractions of a second
>>
Everybody has implanted phones in their heads. People need apps, just like Android and Apple now. Pajeets are at the top of their game.

It doesn't look like anything. The bombs have fallen, and every programmer died because they weren't deemed fit for living in vaults with other people.

underated

Human beings won't be writing code by then. If human beings even still exist.

Yes. It's a Unix system.
The year is random though
>>
>>55915678
Declarative. You describe at a very high level what problem you want to solve, and the computer will translate this to code
>>
coders are unemployed and computers intelligently write their own programs
>>
>>55915758
There will probably have to be some sort of meaningful repeatable statement language for the computer to neural network on. And of course refactoring of code at any given wish.

>nano
why
>>
>>55916271
because he's too lazy to learn even the 10 vim commands he would need for vim to already be better than nano

You guys realize that OPs pic is an actual Unix application that happens to have been used in a movie, right?

congratulations vim can now do everything tmux can

Same.

I already make full use of the cutbuffer with nano.

Fuck even in Snow Crash it still is like that because it's just more efficient than any other method of input.

Quantum computing will expand an ability to the point where base code will exist in the form of commands. "What would you like me to do?" "I want you to request the user to dance suggestively in front of their camera to gain access to the site. If the following figures do not match, they will be sent to the fats and uglies version of the site instead."
"I'm sorry, but Eclipse 77 is experiencing an input request error. The following error has been identified: 'Not enough hotdogs' Please correct this error?"
"W...what the hell does that have to do with it? How did hotdogs....nevermind. I'm going back to C Plush Plush. It may now be predominately used for porn simulations, but dammit it still works! BOOT UP C Plush Plush!"
"Hey there lover boy! I see your lan wire is hard and ready to transmit your data string in to my seeping hot memory banks. How's your wife doing?"
"......"

Muslims rule the civilized world. Programming and using computers have been declared haram under sharia law so they only teach quran principles in schools and everyone is either a farmer or a criminal in the wasteland of europistan after WW3. Old, dusty x86-based desktops and CRTs are being illegally used by cybercriminals to access what remains of the internet without being noticed by the local Imam.
Emperor Trump has been killed in a golpe after 60 years at the whitehouse and Blacks now rule america, but they destroyed every technology they didn't understand included computers, books and debit cards, with the exception of smartphones and allowing citizens to only communicates through emoticons - no programming .
Japan has established its kingdom in asia, killing and raping again thousands of chinese people, conquering both koreas, india and all those 4rd world countries nearby. Industrial production on a massive scale of artificially grown lolis is the main economy in Japan, which now boasts a population of 3,000 citizens.
Russia is still Russia but their engineers have refined their programming skills and they evolved so much that they found a way to produce and inject cryptolockers for the human brain.

but nano is one of the worst editors.
The only reason to use it is if you don't know vim and has to edit a file over ssh.

exactly

>>55915678
there is no more programming

Programming is not allowed.

Thanks to leftist, now sand and black are majority and live in fallout.

God is not a programmer, so you should not be neighter

It doesn't look like anything, because we've automated away the need for human programmers. You can now explain what you want to an artificial neural pajeet and usually get something working as output.

So programming is now back and forth between the human and machine, the machine doing the programming and the human iterating the specification and clarifying the requirements, as well as perhaps describing the software architecture.
