Not exactly sure how an online course could be open-source, but supposedly it has the same lectures and problem sets Harvard students get.

I'm also thinking of taking the MITx course (which is apparently much harder) at the end of this month.

I really just wanted to know what /g/ thought of the course - that's what I assume what people mean when they say "is this /board/ approved?"

Through my years of lurking here I do notice that /g/ prefers books to online courses though.

I just started the course, but I did do Microsoft's Introduction to C++ course, and in that they didn't allow us to share answers with the other people taking the course. We could, of course discuss the problem.

AFAIK you can't modify questions - those are given by the course staff,
