I do. Best place to get the newest Hollywood releases especially when they just came out on Blu-Ray. Download without ever fearing a DMCA complaint that comes with torrents (since you are only leeching and not uploading).

i wish there was some sort of client that could go through xdcc indexes and just download them with out the need for a irc client.
not that this stuff is hard to do its just very inconvenient.
maybe thats a project i could work on in my spare time.
