You're carrying around a device that monitors your location and has a microphone and camera built into it. You already run software developed by large corporations who benefit from the collection of your personal data and won't share what this software is doing on this device.

You are not concerned about Big Brother.

Signal Private Messenger is one example.
You could look up OS monitor too btw, it let's you see which apps have open connections and where they most likely are.

Both are encrypted, of course. Obviously Wire can and does collect some metadata, since it goes through their servers, just like Whatsapp. But it doesn't require a phone number (like Whatsapp and Signal).
