It's funny you say that because I researched it the night before and read about that. I did see from the pictures it also had a dataset interface, though.

Anyway, I was thinking about just putting it in H19 mode and using it as a serial terminal.

I remember reading about a whole bunch of a certain make/model of modern plastic fans in Australia that were causing housefires due to a combination of defective switches shorting out and plastic housings that literally just caught fire from the heat.

I trust my Westinghouse more than any Chinese fan. If it lights me on fire one night while I'm sleeping, I'll still be glad that I made an effort to minimize the amount of money I gave to China for throwaway junk.
