Why are the chinks in such a hurry? They're shitting out new phones almost every month. The Redmi (note) 3 came out in like January and the Redmi 4 is coming out in Q3. What are they thinking?

what are the chances that the note 3 (or redmi 3) receives android 6.0? If they're already bringing out the note 4 (redmi 4) they will most likely ignore their previous phone, or so I've heard.

yeah the performance is great, but custom roms will be tougher to run on them. And xiaomi rarely updates their devices (maybe one android update and that's about it) so CM and other roms are huge for xiaomi devices.
anyone, fell free to correct me if I'm wrong, I'm only thinking about purchasing a xiaomi phone but that's what I've heard/read.
