Constantly torn between Android and iOS. Currently going back and forth between an iPhone 6s Plus and a Nexus 6p.

I've just kind of always used them since I started using smartphones since everyone I knew did. What I like most about iOS is essentially just imessage and the cameras. Imessage to me is great because everyone I know uses it. It's fast, and simple. Super normie. It'd be like if every message you sent was through Facebook messenger. I have used lots of Android phones in the past (started with a Galaxy S, had Nexus 4, 5, S3, S5, S6 for a brief time) and I ended up settling in iOS because shit just works and I really didn't had time or need of thinkering anymore (compiled kernels for fun and browsed Android sources to know them).

With that said I've been tempted to buy an S7 but I feel I'm now very tied to iOS ecosystem and used to lots of the services and conveniences that the platform has, same reason that made me hesitate going iOS in the first place.

I'm in the same boat but worse off. I have a 6s and a 6p. I like them both but they each have their pluses and minuses. Mostly:

iPhone: iMessage
Nexus: more flexibility

If you don't have a lot of apple products already (I ahve a macbook pro and several macs at work, part of the "kit" we all get), I'd go with the 6p. If you do, you'll get more milage out of the iPhone. Granted, mine is jailbroken and tweaked to fuck. If you couldn't jailbreak (for example you were on iOS 10), I don't think it would be worth it personally.

I just got the one plus 3 and I have a problem with the touchscreen. If I am moving my finger really slow the touchscreen reads it like I am holding it on one place. I bought a OnePlus 3 but the software is a huge letdown for me. I don't feel like messing with custom roms yet.

I can get the Huawei P9 Plus for 500€ (OP3 costs 400) new, and for around 450 used if I'm lucky.

How do you think it compares to the OP3? I checked out the UI and it seems to be far more advanced than shitty stock-ish android on the OP3. Also it seems to have a better camera, screen, and sound.

Do you think I should send the OP3 back and get the P9 Plus? Is Huawei good with updates? I heard OP is very bad with updates, even though right now the OP is getting updated quite frequently, the OS is still buggy and lacking.
