I wear (wired) earbuds while working and the pairs I buy always break after 6-12 months.
Can anyone here suggest me a good set of wireless earbuds? I don't really care about sound quality because I only listen to podcasts.

Most wireless headphones sound like ass. Buy a pair of Shure headphones with detachable cables and replace the cable once it goes bad.

I'm actually using those Shure earbuds now. They did last longer than every other pair I've used I suppose. I guess another reason I dislike them, other than the now bad cable, is the cable is too long. Unless I mash the extra length into my pocket (presumably damaging the cord), it dangles freely getting caught on stuff as I walk.
Is the quality really that bad on wireless?

Find a pair that you like and learn how to fix them/re-terminate them.
This is the best case scenario
