So on the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, you can run Bash via the Linux subsystem. Does anyone know how I can use the "ip link" command in bash? It keeps returning "SO_SNDBUF: Invalid argument".
given microsoft's track record are you sure it's a smart idea to trust that they've implemented the linux subsystem correctly?

Probably not. I just want to change my mac address with bash rather than having to use this shitty Tmac program on Windows made by Indians and Jews

known issue since like 2 months ago. gotta wait till its fixed

Lame. I need this so I can connect to a specific BSSID. That's basic network functionality that Windows should have had years and years ago, without bash. I don't want to keep using a third-party program like Wirelessmon.

No. The Linux subsystem doesn't support Netlink sockets to a working degree yet.
