Depends on if you look at the human species as a whole or at humans individually. The human species is defined around technology; it is the only reason that those weak little apes that predated humans first survived. Our whole body is built around technology. Look at the way you are standing. Bipedal behavior is a very rare trait in nature, as walking on two legs is far slower than four legged running and seems to poses no evolutionary advantage. That is until us humans began using our free hands to pick up tools of the ground and make basic attempts at tools and technology. Our thumbs are distinctively shaped for manipulating objects instead of scratching or attacking other animals as well. So to say that technology weakened the human species would be an outright lie, as technology is part of the human species and as it advances so do we. Maybe individual humans now days grow up weaker due to being coddled by technology, but as a whole it has made nothing but a positive benefit.
