Took apart and reassembled my comp in a new case and used an aftermarket EVGA branded sleeved HDD power cable with my non EVGA modular psu. The first time I turned on the comp I heard a loud POP and then it wouldnt start. Just immediately power off after the fans would spin for like a sec after hitting the power button. Luckily my C: SSD drive was plugged into a different HDD power cable than the other two drives. What's more likely, that the cable was faulty or the jack on the PSU?
Neither you probably fucked something up.

Modular PSU cables are not interchangeable.
Anyway, when those drives are plugged into that cable, the comp wont turn on, but if I unplug them, or use my other cable, the comp turns on, but the HDD's besides my SSD are fukd. I'm too scared to try my SSD on the potentially fukd cable in a different jack, or the good cable in the potentially fucked jack.

Yes they are I've used different cables in the same psu. A cable is a cable. Fucking idiot audiophiles.

retard

for fucks sake really? The cable has the same shaped jack and everything. I thought people bought aftermarket ones all the time.

No, they're not. Pin layouts are often different between different PSUs. You may have gotten lucky, but it's a dangerous practice that will fuck you eventually.

well fuck me if that's the case, gg non-standard pin layouts

PEBKAC. You killed your shit.

Aftermarkets are generally customized to the specific model of PSU. You can't just pull cables from one and put them in another, they may be from a different OEM and use a different pinout.
