Almost at 150 days, but I'll have to shut down because of Windows getting extremely slow, even when I have nothing running.
>tfw memory leaks make uptime placebo not worth it
Also, I haven't disabled Windows Update. It's just that my WSUS server has been unreachable since I no longer have it. I'm building a new box to replace it, but for the past 5 months all my PCs have been authenticating locally since that server also served as DC, file, and print server. Makes it super frustrating since whenever I type in a wrong password, it takes way longer to tell me to retype it.

Forgot to mention, the only reason it's remained on through multiple power outages is because of my UPS.

why
>>55872187
This
>>55872187
Because I'm a lazy fuck who tends to have 5 Chrome windows open and doesn't want to close them.

That's why every browser has the option to reopen the same tabs you had when you closed the browser...
Why do you want to know?

150 days of uptime! And now to shut it down...
>>55873430
Well, turns out I didn't get to shut it down. It an-hero'd for me. I did not expect that.

Windows 10 restarts automatically at one week at most to apply updates if you don't do it manually. These images are either fake or they've actually disabled updates completely just to have le uptime plus
Uptime is cool and all. But fucking reboot. Do you sleep/hibernate at night? Why waste the power?
>>55873749
As I said in the OP, I had it on a domain with WSUS, but that server is now dead. I've been saving up to build a new box, so it's been attempting to contact a nonexistent server for updates.
>>55873662
kek. don't worry. linux can do that too if you update often and don't reboot in ages
>>55873749
My Enterprise doesn't and with anti-beacon whatever it's called
>>55873776
Yes, I put it to sleep.
Mainly it was just having a bunch of Chrome stuff and I have shit internet, so waiting for 5 windows to reload is agonizing. That is also why I had WSUS, because when you have 3-5 PCs all hitting Windows Update on a 3 Mb/s line, it's not fun.

unless he's somehow max'ing it out 24/7 the power bill isn't going to be anything big.
